This week during our reading rotation we are learning about what celebrations different cultures have.
During our guided reading sessions with Mrs Stevens we are reading about White Sunday, Happy Holi, Ayyan-i-ha-party and Just like new - The Kingdom of Tonga. During independent reading time we are learning about Italy, Norway, Greece and Zimbabwe. Our computer activity is based on Diwali - the story of Rama and Sita and how Hindus celebrate Diwali today. For our last rotation we read a text called Hands Up For Henna, then we get to design our own henna patterns. Watch this space to see our awesome designs.
